My Coaching Story

Reflecting back on the past 43 years, I have come to realize that life is an eclectic journey, hence the name Eclectic Coaching.

In addition to my work with Eclectic Coaching, I am currently serving as the Lead Pastor at Ethnos Bible Church in Richardson, TX.  I love being in the trenches of church ministry and taking time to contemplate, teach, and write.

I originally started Eclectic Coaching after receiving my Coaching Certification from Jeff Caliguire at WeTrainCoaches.com (formerly the Coaching Transformation Academy).

 

Since then, I've pursued certification in:

• The Harmony Enneagram with Motions of the Soul (Scott and Claire Loughrige)

• Pre-Marriage and Marriage Coaching with Save Your Marriage Before it Starts (SYMBIS)

My academic specialties include: Paul and the Law, Leadership, New Testament, Theology, Koine Greek, Second Temple Judaism, Philo of Alexandria

 

Coaching youth soccer is also an ongoing passion of mine. It's how I engage the community around me. Just like in my main vocational roles, my coaching emphasis is developing players to work as a team. I love to jump in and charismatically demonstrate how each choice you make in the pitch affects everyone around you.
